Mineral Process Engineering
I pursued my M.Tech in Mineral Processing Engineering at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, India (2013-2015). Established in 1926, the university is one of India's oldest institutions. During my studies, I worked on a significant project in collaboration with M/s Trimex Sandes Private Limited, Srikakulam, focused on the flotation of Sillimanite. The project successfully implemented Hydrotropes, using Sodium Benzoate and Urea as promoters. We conducted experiments on beach sand containing 22-25% Sillimanite, with gangue minerals such as clay, quartz, ilmenite, rutile, and zircon. The goal was to enhance recovery and achieve higher grade. We optimized dosages of Sodium Silicate (depressant) and Oleic Acid (collector) to improve flotation efficiency. Additionally, I published two research papers: Soap Flotation: A Brief Review and Sodium Benzoate and Urea as Promoters in Sillimanite Flotation in the Journal of Modern Chemistry & Chemical Technology.

I completed my Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech) in Chemical Engineering from Sathyabama University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
