I am a Finance student at HKUST with a strong interest in financial markets, particularly equities, and developing exposure to foreign exchange. Through applied market analysis, I have been building capabilities in interpreting global and geopolitical trends, market conditions, and company fundamentals to support clearer decision-making. To put this approach into practice, I have been involved in several hands-on market-related activities, including: 1. Traders@UST — Active member focused on market analysis and idea development - Built an equity stock pitch on Xiaomi (September 2025), analysing its diversified business across smartphones, IoT, and the rapid expansion of its EV segment - Produced weekly GBP/USD market commentaries (November–December 2025) and developed FX trade ideas based on global macro developments and market sentiment 2. HKUST Undergraduate Private Session — “Getting Started with LSEG Workspace for Students” - Gained introductory exposure to professional market data tools used for equity and market analysis Through my experience in equity analysis, FX market commentary, and top-down market assessment, I have developed strong analytical skills, a structured approach to decision-making, and the ability to translate global developments into clear market views. I am currently seeking internship opportunities where I can contribute these skills while gaining further hands-on exposure to financial markets.
