Mose Cassaro
Director, SLP @ gener8tor
About
Mose Cassaro is the Founder and GP of RDF Ventures, an early stage venture fund backing outlier founders building bold technologies across Vermont. As New England’s youngest Solo GP and accelerator founder, he is helping shape the future of innovation in rural America through strategic capital deployment and accelerator-backed venture development. Mose also serves as a Program Partner and Manager at global accelerator and venture fund gener8tor, supporting startups and entrepreneurs across dozens of markets, both national and international. Additionally, Mose serves as Founder of Startup Vermont, the evolution of his work building Startup Rutland in partnership with the Rutland Chamber (CEDRR) to establish Vermont’s first globally recognized accelerator program in collaboration with gener8tor. This work now expands statewide through Startup Vermont, bridging public, private, and academic partners to strengthen the region’s early-stage entrepreneurial ecosystem and connect rural founders to the national venture landscape. In addition to his work with gener8tor and Startup Vermont, Mose serves on the boards of several startups, including Brightwater Tools (SOSV-backed water tech), and has been an operator at venture-backed companies including Viggo (Acq: BOLT) and more. With over a decade of experience across North America, EMEA, and APAC, he’s supported founders from ideation through fundraising, GTM, and scale, combining operational depth with strategic execution. His path into technology began through curiosity and problem solving, often led by boredom. By eight, he was soldering motherboards and experimenting with hardware. By twelve, he had launched iHelp, a profitable tech-help business and blog born from his experiments in hacking PSPs and jailbreaking iPhones. He later dropped out of middle school to build his first startup, before earning a BBA in Entrepreneurship from Hofstra University, where he built a universal interface for digital wallets.Beyond his work in venture, Mose has a deep interest in history, theology, philosophy, and anthropology, exploring how belief systems, past and present human behavior, and cultural evolution shape relationships and civilizations. At the core of his work is a conviction that technology + capital, when guided by wisdom and humility, can serve as instruments of human progress. He believes that while true equalization may be unattainable, the very pursuit of striving toward an ever-moving ideal, creates greater good. It is through that pursuit that we inch closer to a better, more just world.

Founder
Vermont, United States
Startup Vermont is the evolution of my work founding Startup Rutland, where I single-handedly built and operated Vermont’s first nationally partnered accelerator program in partnership with gener8tor, a nationally ranked accelerator and venture fund, and a local Chamber (CEDRR). During this time, I successfully executed an EDA Build to Scale grant cycle and secured over $1M in matching funding and contracts. The program supported 30 early-stage founders who have collectively raised over $10M in capital and represent more than $15M in annual recurring revenue. Following three successful years of accelerator programming in Rutland, I established Startup Vermont as a broader statewide platform supporting founders across Vermont.
