I’m the Chief Marketing Officer for Manganese Metal Company, the world’s largest producer of 99.9% (Selenium-free) Manganese metal products, serving niche markets in Japan, USA, Europe, Africa and Asia. The industries we participate in are Lithium-ion batteries, Steel, Aluminium, Welding consumables, Non-ferrous metals, Chemicals and Electronics. We pride ourselves in our product quality, excellent technical support and customer service. Before joining MMC, I worked for IMERYS South Africa (Ecca Holdings Pty Ltd) as Sales Manager (Head office) and Quality Manager (Operations) and started my career at Anglo Base Metals – Namakwa Sands. I have a B-Tech Degree in Chemistry from the Cape University of Technology and completed the Management Advancement Programme (MAP) at Wits Business School. I’m a firm believer in personal and leadership development and believe learning and developing oneself is a lifelong unending and exciting journey. I believe in creating win-win relationships in business and life.
