At the Institute of Economics I was a research collaborator of Jan Tinbergen who was the first recipient of the Nobel Prize in economics. He mentioned my work on optomal growth in his acceptance lecture. My main contribution was the building of an advanced mathematical optimal growth model introducing for the first time the conflicting preferences of successive generations. and, To prove the existence of a solution I had to use Lebesgue integration and calculus of variations with an infinite time horizon.

Worked with Prof.Edouard Poldini (who was the first scientific collaborator of the Schlumberger brothers who started Geophysics and created slb.com).

I was in charge of organizing the reception of the monthy speaker and preparing the questions of the following graduate seminar. The speakers were all famous people like Morgenstern, Tinbergen and Triffin. The professors included Roepke the advisor of Chancellor Konrad Adenauer.

Teaching, building research instrumentation, electrical and gravimetric exploration and analysis of the genevese underground.

Improved my English and mathematics. Got accepted as a student of mathematics at Harvard and Chicago, but decided to return to Geneva Switzerland.
