I am an author, consultant, CPD trainer and senior leader. Challenge for All is an ethos that imbues my every endeavour. It is at the core of my book on enrichment, challenge and equity. My mission is to challenge all learners to reach their full potential and build structures that support equity in education. In my work developing T&L, curriculum, and assessment I have reflected a lot on the core values a school must have to be impactful. A key focus for me has been cultivating an ethos of professional respect and collaboration. Galvanizing staff to create a cycle of productive action steps. This has worked alongside action research, external partnerships and a robust calendar of CPD. I have over 16 years of experience in education, I have a streamlined and evidence-informed approach to management that focuses on creating systems for success. I believe in fostering a coaching culture, and cultivating collective teacher efficacy. I have spearheaded the school evaluation process to ensure quality assurance and inspection readiness. I have managed large and diverse teams, steering school outcomes by outlining high-performance expectations. I have a track record of leading whole school projects where the quality of teaching and learning is improved and there is a measurable increase in attainment. I try new strategies. I have established the infrastructure for a responsive, visible and centralised SDP. This allows staff to link their objectives and instructional practices to the school's strategic goals. More importantly, I have evaluated each project's success, modified and learned from the process.
