Largest accomplished project over approximately 15,000 feet of raceway (cable tray and conduit), several motor control centers and medium voltage switch gear installed, ground grid, lightning protection, safety systems, entire network, medium voltage drive installed, lighting system installed, substation and 66 kv power line swaging fully constructed, and many thousands of feet of cabling successfully installed/tested. Solar side of business - installed grounded cab system, performed all DC string pulls, control system install, fiber, Inverter installation, low and medium voltage cable installs, and power transformer/switchboard installs.

Oversew the electrical department at the Steamboat Complex and provided technical support to other regions as needed.

Oversaw the electrical, control, & instrumentation maintenance activities for the entire mine-site.

• Traveled to multiple sites in Nevada, California, Utah, and Hawaii to provide technical support. • Participated in several power plant start-ups with an international start-up and commissioning team. • Provided feedback and lessons learned reports to management on power plant commissioning experiences. • Performed electrical and instrumentation systems’ troubleshooting and supervision in various commissioning projects in new and refurbished geothermal power plants. • Planned EI&C scope of work involved during power plant commissioning and ensured that required work was completed with the coordination of local plant personnel, the commissioning and project teams from Israel, other corporate members, and also the contractors. • Performed complete I/O loop checks, electrical switchgear and synchronous generator testing, governor, auxiliary circuit and critical safety circuit testing. • Assisted in performing WECC testing for new synchronous generators alongside fellow co-workers. • Strictly adhered to CAPP and OSHA procedures and regulations as well as Ormat’s safety policies and procedures. • Assisted in designing appropriate stock inventory for a newly commissioned power plant. • Ensured that all work has been performed in compliance with the NEC and NFPA codes. • Performed corrective actions out in the field as well as documentation updates and error-checking. • Constructed proper documentation and drawing design for electrical & control systems. • Programmed GE RX3i and 90-30 programmable logic controllers (PLC) as well as Allen Bradley 500 and 5000 platform systems. Also have worked with remote I/O such as flex I/O with control-net, device-net, and Ethernet/IP as well as redundant systems. • Modified human machine interface (HMI) programs with CitectScada (VijeoCitect) and performed basic cicode and emailing functions.

I worked for Newmont Gold Corp. as the senior Electrical/Instrumentation Technician for the Midas minesite. It was certainly an extremely rewarding and fullfilling position. I was involved in overseeing the maintenance of the underground network on the minesite and the electrical instrumentation at the mill. Work experiences are detailed below: • Performed electrical and instrumentation systems’ troubleshooting in the mill utilizing various resources such as prints, literature, and embracing team members’ abilities. • Performed control loop troubleshooting consisting of simple to advanced control systems. • Demonstrated preventative maintenance measures and maintenance planning in underground & mill environments. • Demonstrated safe work performance on low to high voltage electrical systems such as 4.16 to 13.8 KV switchgear, load centers, motor control centers, etc… • Participated in various automation projects in a team environment such as the mine main ventilation, underground water systems’, and variable frequency drive commissioning. • Circuit design, electrical construction, and panel builds such as mine stench panels and safety interlock design. • Assisted with HMI page design in Wonderware in the mill and underground. • Assisted commissioning a mine-wide water recirculation system using closed-loop instrumentation and networked PLCs’. • Performed PLC maintenance, utilized programming software, and constructed complete control builds including Modicon & Allen Bradley controllers. • Managed single-mode fiber optic Mine site Tech. systems for entire mine-site. • Performed network cable terminations, network backbone maintenance, V-lan establishments, configuration of local area networks pertaining to underground mine, etc…

I worked for the college as a co-instructor for instrumentation technology. I assisted the instructor with assisting the students with various projects and the various technologies associated with instrumentation.

I worked for Round Mtn. Gold Corp as an electrical intern while going to school for my degrees and certifications. Involved in maintenance of various electrical systems in the crushing plants, pit operations, and the mill.
