As a Peer Mentor, I provide individualized support to promote academic success, self-advocacy, and campus engagement. I collaborate with students to strengthen interdependent living skills, build social connections, and prepare for employment or volunteer roles. I actively contribute to fostering an inclusive campus culture by encouraging participation in academic courses, student organizations, and university life—supporting measurable growth aligned with CSUEB’s Institutional Learning Outcomes.

- Lead group sessions and provide individualized tutoring to strengthen students’ conceptual understanding and analytical skills - Mentored over 100 students across STEM disciplines, conducting in-person and virtual office hours, -Facilitate active learning and peer engagement, contributing to improved academic outcomes and retention rates

- Build connections between STEM LAB, LSSC, Puente, GANAS, and cultural programs to support LatinE student success. - Collaborate with peers and faculty mentors to promote community engagement and inclusive campus events. - Support the East Bay STEM Initiative by fostering awareness, access, and student involvement.

- Selected to serve as a ChatGPT Ambassador through the CSU x OpenAI partnership, helping introduce ChatGPT Edu to 460,000+ students across 23 campuses. - In this role, I lead student-focused events and workshops to spark “a-ha” moments, model responsible AI use, and share practical tips and best practices with peers. - I collaborate with faculty, leadership, OpenAI, and fellow ambassadors to foster AI adoption and shape future strategies for learning and innovation.

- Oversaw all financial operations for the organization, maintaining accurate records and budgeting for events - Extracted and analyzed financial data using Excel to create clear, organized spreadsheets for team use - Collaborated with the executive board and advisor in regular meetings to strategize event funding and resource allocation - Led financial reporting and ensured transparency, improving the team’s efficiency and decision-making processes
