Coordinator
Slough, United Kingdom
Acorn is a maintenance service provider to some high profile companies in London and the South East. Growing rapidly and streamlining their systems to adapt to their increasing customer base, I was recruited for their helpdesk and customer operations team. Within 4 months of starting, I managed to get a formal recommendation for employee of the month, where I received some gift vouchers and recognition of the Managing Director. The client felt I went above and beyond to resolve a very urgent situation. My excellence in customer service skills overrides everything (I know) and I ensure I put my client first. Main Tasks: Efficiently manage and take ownership of call out and/or remedial works from a very busy shared inbox. Provide timely updates to the client and accurately capture the information required for the engineers to attend site to resolve issues. Once works were complete, the reports needed to be analysed and processed for the next steps. Either quoted remedial works, or accounting invoicing etc. For the planning, we had to review the planners for the clients and allocate engineers accordingly and ensure the associated admin was completed. We had strict SLAs in place and so had to work well under pressure, yet not miss the details. I left Acorn as I was presented with another opportunity that I felt would be a good career move.

These consist of a large TFM provider to a smaller building contractor for adhoc projects, etc. We mange RAMS, Statutory Compliance, which are diligently checked by our auditing authorities and any other reactive requests. Whilst under tight deadlines and busy days, I maintain a professional and pleasant demeanour, liaising with various stakeholders throughout, from our Security Officer through to our Directors. Customer service, patience and clear continuous communication always at the forefront of my work ethic, make me successful and well valued in my team. Norwood has great ratings throughout their sites and pride themselves on superior service.
