· Assure the organization makes consistent and timely progress in achieving its mission and programmatic impact. · Responsible for communicating effectively with Board and providing all information necessary for Board to function properly and make informed decisions. · Plan, actively manage, and oversee the organization’s operations, programs, and fundraising, while ensuring the organization’s financial sustainability. · Actively engage in complex fiscal management through hands on budgetary development and oversight; routinely report performance and financial activities to the Board. · Apply innovative thinking and performance measurements to analyze and support strategic decision- making. · Manage and motivate staff, overseeing processes such as hiring, separation, ongoing staff development, performance management, and compensation and benefits. · Fiscal management that generally anticipates operating within the approved budget, ensures maximum resource utilization, and maintenance of the organization in a positive financial position. · Serve in a forward-facing capacity to help position and strengthen organization’s name recognition in the community.

In this position, I reported directly to the CEO. I was responsible for enabling and supporting the execution of Gateway to Hope’s mission and vision through my leadership of staff and resources. The overall purpose of my role was to lead the organization’s fundraising strategy and efforts, oversee the staff that managed the day-to-day business operations, lead my team to long-term growth, and generate new opportunities for Gateway to Hope.

I frequently attended client sponsored and industry-related events as a company liaison. One of my strengths in this role included building and maintaining client and vendor relationships. I also drafted and reviewed Statements of Work, NDAs, and RFPs.
