As Business Development Manager at HUB Organoids (HUB), the global leader in adult stem cell–derived organoids, I will build partnerships with pharma and biotech companies, negotiated agreements, and expand the reach of HUB’s Organoid Technology across drug discovery, personalized medicine, and pre-clinical research. In 2024, HUB Organoids was acquired by Merck, highlighting the industry’s recognition of HUB’s transformative technology and its potential to advance the next generation of therapeutics.

* Develop new potential customers and maintain existing relationships in biologics through strategic scouting, business introduction, contract negotiation, and ongoing customer engagement. * Present WuXi Biologics CRO service platforms, showcasing expertise in antibody/protein sciences at key conferences, such as the Festival of Biologics and the Protein & Antibody Engineering Summit. * Identify unmet market needs in the antibody drug discovery and development field within academic institutes and therapeutic companies, providing insights for tailored solutions that align with customer requirements. * (Co-)Organize impactful meetings and social events and maintain long-term relationships with customers, ensuring continued partnership and collaboration. * Develop, update, and implement strategic account plans in antibody drug field, with an in-depth understanding of the financial and functional dynamics of the treatment pathway. * Analyze market opportunities and map out the business potential of each target in both biologics and diabetes care. * Work cross-functionally with internal teams and brand marketing members, aligning strategies to drive business development and ensure a seamless customer experience. * Show ownership and creativity, acting independently and representing WuXi Biologics with confidence, curiosity, and problem-solving abilities.

* Looking for new business opportunities in Europe for GenScript Probio business development on two portfolio: Antibody drug development(ADD) and Cell and Gene therapy (CGT) * Analyzing market data on two portfolios in each sales territory in Europe. * Identify and qualify targeting customers and looking for contact opportunities * Leads campaign for developing new opportunities * Presenting capabilities of ADD platforms during conference or customer visiting

* Expertise in recombinant protein and reagent antibody products * Work with Sales team to identify and develop opportunities with application focus, especially to boost the sales of strategic products. * Provide technical training and support to Sales and TAM teams with application focus. * Proactively approach customer via customer visit, tele-conference, and conferences, etc., to introduce application-oriented services/products and work out solutions to meet customer needs. * Prepare and present seminars at webinars, conferences and other public events. * Work with Global Marketing Product Management Team to improve existing application materials and identify new application trends for sustainable business growth. * Work closely with other teams to help with the technology development and application trend.

Leiden University/Leiden Academic Centre of Drug Research (LACDR)/ BioTherapeutic division My main aim is to look for new therapeutic targets for atherosclerosis and fatty liver diseases. My PhD thesis topic will be " The role of PRMTs (Protein arginine methyltransferases) in regulating inflammation and lipid metabolism during the development of atherosclerosis and fatty liver diseases. During my PhD period, I grow to be an independent scientist. I learned and acquired an extensive working knowledges. * Published 2 research publications as first author thus far * I can master biological techniques including flow cytometry, RT-qPCR, Elisa, lipid extractions from tissues, histology, immunohistology, fluorescence staining, in vitro culturing techniques of primary macrophages and different cell lines and in vivo work in murine models. * Developed critical thinking, working efficiency and multitasking. * Developed presentation and communication skills in science. * Supervision of BSc and MSc students.

Master internship topic: Cyclodextrins work as both "agonist" and "shuttle" to increase the cholesterol removal from lipid-loaded macrophages, in order to promote atherosclerosis regression

* PhD thesis topic will be “The role of PRMTs (Protein arginine methyltransferases) in regulating inflammation and lipid metabolism during the development of atherosclerosis and fatty liver diseases. * Expertise on targeting to immune cells, such as macrophages, to investigate a new therapeutic strategy for cardiovascular diseases, metabolic diseases and inflammatory diseases. * Published 4 research paper as first author and 2 other paper as co-author so far * Master practical skills, including flow cytometry, RT-qPCR, Elisa, lipid extractions from tissues, histology, immunohistology, fluorescence staining, in vitro culturing techniques of primary macrophages and different cell lines * Working with murine models for 6 years, having European Laboratory Animal Science - Article 9 FELASA, handling mouse easily for different drug administration. * Developed presentation and good communication skills in science * Supervision of more than 10 BSc and MSc students
