I acquire electrical components and raw materials for multi-site manufacturing operations on a Just-In-Time basis. I forecast material needs and optimise purchasing plans to fit production schedules.

I was responsible for the sourcing and purchasing of chemicals and consumables across two sites. This included order processing, stock management and supplier management. I expedited orders, proactively dealt with delays to reduce lead times, and liaised with suppliers. My duties also covered incoming/outgoing shipments and arranging client shipments while adhering to compliance procedures for shipping dangerous goods.

While studying at university, I also worked as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher. My role involved teaching students English at an intermediate to advanced level. I created and designed resources and lesson plans. The role tested my ability to adapt, as my teaching methods and communication style changed based on each student's needs. I continuously evaluated each student's progress and encouraged improvement.

I volunteered part-time at a Cancer Research UK charity shop during my university studies (ended due to covid lockdown).

I worked as a dedicated team member in a department store; I provided excellent customer service, handled cash transactions, and maintained a clean and organised store. I handled customer queries to ensure a positive experience in-store.

During college as work experience, I worked in the Molecular Biology lab at the Natural History Museum. I identified various species of insect and fish using electrophoresis, mass spectrophotometry and DNA extraction techniques.
