Trained as a lawyer and psychologist, Mollie Marti is a resilience speaker, trainer, researcher, and author. She is a passionate justice-seeker dedicated to helping people thrive and strengthen others. She is the founder and CEO of Worldmaker International, a nonprofit organization that helps communities prepare for, adapt to, and grow through adversity. Host of the Resiliency Matters TV show, Mollie is known for her unique ability to integrate the science of resilience with the art of mindful living. Before her nonprofit work, Mollie taught as an adjunct professor of psychology at the University of Iowa and operated a performance consultancy for over a decade, coaching elite business and athletic performers. Her business leadership books, including Walking with Justice and The 12 Factors of Business Success, have been translated into eight languages. Mollie thrives from a working apple orchard in scenic northeast Iowa, where she and her husband raised their three children and zany family of pets. A social psychologist, lawyer, and author, Mollie Marti is founding CEO of Worldmaker Resilience Institute, a nonprofit that provides evidence-based resilience programming and crisis response services. Worldmaker has delivered resilience education in more than 150 countries and supported veterans in over 20 nations. Mollie’s frameworks, including the THRIVE Resilience Model™, has been widely adapted across the military, crisis response, education, and healthcare sectors. Her research extends beyond individual resilience traits to identify the most important factors that drive group norms of hope, help seeking, and well-being. She hosts the Resiliency Matters TV show, broadcast to more than 250,000 households, and is the author of three books that have been translated into eight languages. A proud multi-generational military and first responder family member, Mollie is fueled by a desire to support those who serve and safeguard others, and to help communities prepare for and rebuild after crisis. Prior to her nonprofit executive work, Mollie served as the Associate Director of the Iowa Social Science Institute, taught as an adjunct professor of psychology at the University of Iowa and garnered over a decade of experience coaching corporate and athletic performers, including world and Olympic competitors. She and her husband raised their three children on a working apple orchard in Iowa.
