Responsibilities • Complete plant maintenance (Mechanical electrical and instrumentation) • Ensure employees follow up on personal safety and security procedures • Effective implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance schedule in order to reduce production down time • Coach, counsel, discipline and motivate the team members to maintain healthy relations in the department with an aim to steer their efforts towards positive contributions for its goals; • Identification and development of talent amongst the team by conducting regular appraisals frame work for performance management using set goals and objectives; Responsible for complete erection and commissioning and hand over of the project to the production team • Plan for annual maintenance Budget requirement of the plant machinery • Maintain the utility consumption and spare cost as per the budget • Maintain statutory norms and rules for boiler electricity and factory • Ensure machine availability as per norms on 24X7 basis • Establishes and maintains a self-computerized maintenance management system for record keeping of troubleshooting history of plant machinery and list of spare parts (available & Issued). • Initiates, implements & manage the plant maintenance program based on best practices in the Printing industry, with an emphasis on Zero Hour Breakdown by proper planning and preventive maintenance. • Contacting the suppliers for the Project and Maintenance / Overhauling contracts.
