• Responsible for New Product Development and Vendor management. • Successfully prepare and obtaining quotations, analyze RFQ's and process purchase orders. • Assist Buyers and Commodity Managers with negotiating supplier agreements • Knowledge of commercial T&Cs, Inco terms and SCM, Procure to Pay. • Support proto builds with parts developed through proto routes. • Develop and maintain effective supplier relationships for assigned categories. • Develop Sourcing Plan that documents, Early Supplier Involvement, Supply Selection, Risk Mitigation Plans, Capacity Management and Supplier Ramp Up Plans and ensure the plan is executed. • Work in a cross functional team environment, working with Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing, Marketing, Supply Chain, Commodity Managers and Global Suppliers • Main point of contact for assigned vendors for problem resolution and troubleshooting across 4 plant locations. • Perform root cause analysis of process & system problems pre and post implementation and for existing production processes & systems, recommend solutions to prevent problem recurrence. • Vendor code creation, including Quota arrangement, source lists, info records, Quality management info creation, Vendor master etc. • Execution and assist in standard SOP development and implementation to coincide with new processes as needed for the business. • Implementation of New ECN changes for Bangalore part to all respective part vendors and PCR documentation for process change requirement. • Development of alternate vendor for part cost reduction dual source strategy. • Provide assistance to vendors for Initial PPAP submission as requested. • Experienced in all stages of Development Lifecycle from process requirements, design, Development, testing, implementation.

Analyze all Vendors in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing. Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit. Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule and quality.
