Setting context for migration of applications and associated servers which involved generation of Application assessment questionnaire(AAQ), provisioning of pre- filled AAQ using DB2 in IBM Contribution • Generated Application Assessment Questionnaire(AAQ) using DB2 in IBM SCOPE database • Analysis of data merger involving client data and IBM SCOPE Database using DB2 • Created profiles for AAQ • Conducted Gap analysis and assisted in creation of AAQ with minimal errors

Data collection for discovery of servers which need to be migrated off the data centers. • Gathered required data for servers, applications residing on them, location, IP addresses etc • Worked on data collection tools to collect data related to servers • Updated asset trackers on a regular basis based on their locations • Connected with system admins for running the UNIX scripts on servers to collect application inventory and performance data • Loaded the data in to database and generated reports which capture inventory data such as processors, disk space and middleware installed • Provided the data to migration team for planning the migration of servers

Decommissioning of bank applications which need to be migrated or are not required. Contribution: • Coordinated with the stakeholders for data archival activity • Involved in communicating with key stakeholders like application support specialist and IT managers for gathering required information on Application decommissioning. • Performed high level analysis on the application I.e. to identify its associated infrastructure, Hosting environments, details on Database and Database servers etc. • Involved in gathering approvals from Business, IT and from support specialists for application decommissioning. • Involved in Data Migration and Data archival activities prior to Application decommissioning as part of Data • Archival solution • Involved in retirement of Server/Database • Managed the change & Incident requests for asset retirements • Managed different CIO areas for the client
