Building fault tolerant and robust Data Integrations and pipelines

Responsible for end to end engineering work for customer go-lives -- from system integration, data validation, transformation & ingestion, technical troubleshooting, customization & enhancements. Working as a member of Data Platform team and closely with Product teams to achieve on-time & successful go-lives for EVERY customer.

I work on software product called OpenReview.net with a team of AI researchers and engineers. My responsibilities include developing and testing new UI, back-end features and APIs using TDD in a complex information system used to manage scientific peer review in computer science. In my everyday work, I use a combination of Python, Node.js, Flask, Javascript, MongoDB, Mocha, PyTest, Selenium, and GitHub. My responsibilities also include leading the team in designing and developing solutions, integrating cutting edge research work with the product, mentoring new teammates and leading customer interactions and software demos.

Worked as a software developer and team leader in an Agile team tasked with creating and maintaining automation tools for QA and Release Engineering teams. Our automation frameworks used a combination of Python, Selenium, PostgreSQL, and Jenkins. - Python & Selenium based automation tool designed for functional testing of EXL's healthcare product. - Led a team to design and implement an automated software CI/CD pipeline.

Project - PHIX (Private Healthcare Exchange) - A SaaS based US Healthcare product - Worked as Software engineer contributing to automated and manual testing for Broker module of PHIX. - Performed load testing using Apache Jmeter for the products. - Developed and maintained Jenkins scripts for deployment environments.

Projects - GSM-R Phase-1 & 2 - GSM-R is a Telecom architecture to facilitate priority Railway communication. -Advised client Nokia Siemens Networks during GSM-R pilot in Norway, China and Portugal. -Architected and developed Aricent’s Automation testing suite that uses NLP features. -Contributed in End to End System testing for project GSM-R. -Volunteered to train new joiners in India and Vietnam teams. -Developed and maintained Shell and Tcl scripts to automate routine tasks.

MS in Computer Science with a concentration in Data Science. Through my work experience, various academic projects and graduate level courses I have acquired good understanding of Machine learning, Deep Learning and NLP techniques. Some of the project I was a part of are: -Visual Exploration tool for Facebook data D3.js based visualizations to facilitate visual exploration of Facebook dataset. User can explore data through several interlinked graphs. Also, DC.js library was used to create this tool for exploration and data mining of huge datasets. -Emoji Prediction for Twitter data Objective was to predict an emoji for a tweet. During this project several models were built based on techniques like Naive Bayes, Logistic regression, RNN, LSTM, & Word2vec.
