Developer Productivity & Cloud Infrastructure Set Data In Motion! I was the Technical Leader on the platform & cloud Infra team. Joined when confluent was about 60 engineers and built the commit to production infrastructure to support engineering team of about 600+ to support various product lines like Confluent Enterprise, Confluent Cloud, KStreams, KsqlDB and 100's of Connectors. I was fortunate to be able to see the growth of the company from about 150 to 1600+ headcount. In 2021, Confluent had a very successful IPO reaching valuation of about US $25B. Container based Automated Cloud Infrastructure, Deployment Infrastructure, Cloud Automation & Deployment & Orchestration Framework, end-to-end Development CI/CD Pipelines, Chaos Engineering - Led various initiatives & teams from scratch to solve Datacenter Automation, Provisioning, Scheduling, Service Discovery, Monitoring, Qualification, Orchestration, Deployment problems to support an engineering organization of 2500 across the globe. - Technical lead for the complete automation infrastructure and framework product stack that enables product teams at Ariba for products like Ariba Buyer, Sourcing, Network, Community, SCM, Mobile to orchestrate & distribute the automated test cases across the test cluster to run them with speed & efficiency. - Architect & Implement Company wide automation/ deployment patterns using java and open source technologies to enable various product teams to run automation testing cycles, promote use of best practices in automation. - Multi Node Test Cluster that can distribute and run automated test cases in parallel and distributed mode. Roughly 10,000 test cases get run in a single run which takes around less than 4 hours to complete. On a given day, 100,000 test cases gets executed via this cluster. -Logi - Log mining product based on Cloudera Hadoop, to aggregate performance logs across products, product clusters and the automated test runs to generate 15min, Hourly, Daily and Monthly reports on performance metrics. - Test DB: Maintain test case repository management cluster to aggregate the automated results via TestDB. Run Analytics and Trend reporting across these runs to slice and dice the test results data to generate reports and valuable insights using TestDB developed using Apache Lily. Yahoo Messenger Client in FlashLite/ActionScript (May 08 – Dec 08): Designed and developed a Yahoo IM client library which provides all the basic Yahoo IM functions on mobile phones. Client interacts to Yahoo IM server using a proxy. Developed the proxy in servlets to handle requests from the im client. Used XSPF file format for management of play-lists. WAV, KAR, MID, MP3 support. Files are played dynamically over the air. Successfully tested on phones like Motorola RAZR_V3 and Nokia E61. System Using JAAS (Aug ’07 – Dec ’07): Implemented PAM module for authentication and authorization using JAAS with PAM modules which uses LDAP, KERBEROS, SSL, TACACS+, and RADIUS for authentication.
