Provide leadership to the Operations for 3 plants: Instant Powder (IP), Beverages (BV), and Roasted Ground (RG), with a combined capacity of 450,000 cartons per month. Oversee all aspects of plant operations (IP, BV and RG), Engineering, AME, Warehouse, Planning, Logistics, Safety, and Security. Cultivate a performance-based culture, enhance employee potential, and promote continuous improvement mindsets. Drive projects aimed at waste reduction, capacity improvement, cost reduction, sustainability, productivity enhancement, infrastructure development, and plant expansion. Implement the Objective Goal Strategy and Measurement (OGSM) for the plants to ensure annual financial targets are met through modernization, expansion, and consolidation efforts. Achievements: -Warehouse capacity optimized by 13% thru migration from Satellite Shuttle racking to drive-in and also improved the remaining satellite shuttle racking in improving efficiency in managing our stocks. -Full internalization of stocks management in the Warehouse resulting in significant cost reduction. --Reduced manpower through improving the system and removing bottlenecks. -Decreased reject rates for the Instant Powder (IP) plant from 3.67% to 2.73%. -Reduce the balance powder from 25,000kg to 3,000kg. -Achieved a monthly reduction of RM50,000 in electricity through solar energy solutions. -Effectively engaged shop floor employees to dissuade union formation, fostering a collaborative work environment. -Streamlined operations in the Beverages (BV) and Roasted Ground (RG) plants. Fully internalized the RG production and improved the productivity from 2500ctns to 7000ctns per month. -Internalized 5 SKUs for IP. -Higher speed Toyo Machine which double-up productivity and improves operational reliability. -Improved the reliability of production machineries and facilities machineries. Engineering workforce reduced from 50 pax to 38 pax. -Working on automation for IP production line for manpower efficiency.

Overseen plant in Johor Bahru which produce biscuits which having 32,000MT capacity/year. The brands that produced in Johor Bahru are Jacobs, Chipsmore, Tiger and Belvita. My responsibilities include accountable for Plant Operation, Engineering, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), IL6S (Continuous Improvement), PPIC, Business Development and Quality. Apart from that, I also overseen other functional departments like Human Resources and Procurement. Achievements: 1. Directly oversee the operation supply chain management team including recruiting, performance management and keeping them work as a team and created the conducive working environment towards achieving Great Place to Work (GPTW). 2. Provide leadership to supply chain teams responsible for the management of operations and all equipment which resulting of transforming the KPIs from Red (2013) to Green (2018). 3. Execute the profit and loss program for Supply Chain operation which focusing on Loss Reduction (RM/PM) Loss reduce from 7.32% to 2.22%) and Cost Reduction (conversion cost reduces from USD722/Ton to USD478/Ton). 4. Develop Business Unit Supply Chain standards, policies and work processes, in line with company standards. Drive execution and continuous improvements. Among the achievements: - Global Efficiency 66% to 85%. - Output/labor hour 14.8kg/hour to and 23.8kg/hour - Valid complaints reduce from 19 cases to 4 cases. - Compliance to Schedule improved from 81% to 96%. - Water Usage reduced from 1.12m 3 /ton to 0.70m 3 /ton. - Total Waste reduction was more than 65%. 5. Create a supportive environment for supply chain staffs to improve the performance in the Mondelēz International Audit (MIA) from 7S 8NR & 3NI to 11S 7NR & 0NI and maintain the certificates like ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, SMETA and FSSC 22000.

Provide leadership Supply Chain team for 8 plants in one location with a total of 1,850 employees. My responsibilities include plant operation, procurement, finance, human resources, warehousing, engineering, new product development, administration, production planning and inventory control (PPIC) and project management. Achievements: 1. Develop BU Supply Chain Standards and work processes and able to achieve the highest 1 st grade yield (89.4%) ever since 1999. 2. Drive and convince the union for not doing demonstration but settle the issue inside the meeting room. 3. Execute and drive Supply Chain team for the improvement of operational cost and the distribution of finished goods. Lead the 5% Shrinkage of Production Project and the Logistic Overhaul Project.

To give an overview of what I have been doing since 1996, I joined the company as a fresh graduate. My first post was Maintenance Engineer but in 1997, I have been asked to become Production Engineer to handle one department. Since then I spent most of my time in production and in year 2000, I have been promoted to lead Plant 1 as Production Manager. I was not looked back as I have been given a post to handle more plants within premises and during that time until 2008, I have given the task to manage the production for Floor Tile (consist of Plant 1 and 2) and Wall Tile (consist of Plant 3 and 4) as Senior Production Manager. During this time also I was the chairman of Sports and Recreational Committee for 5 years and I became the Secretary of Hong Leong Group Charity Run for 5 years. The HLGCR was held every year with the objective to reaching out to the community around Johor. Achievements: 1. Managed to reduce the manpower of every Plant that I managed from 15% to 40%. 2. A member of Customer Care Meeting (CCM) since 2003 where in the meeting is discussing the strategies to improve the customer satisfaction every month. 3. A member of management Meeting (MM) since 2003 where in the meeting is presenting the performance of the Plants and the strategies to improve them in front of Managing Director. 4. Familiar with SWOT Analysis, Problem Solving and Decision Making (PSDM), Total Production Maintenance (TPM), The Quality Advantage (TQA), 5S, Quality and Productivity Program (QPP) and other management tools. 5. Has been with TAG (Total Achievers Group) team of Hong Leong Group since 2007. This program is an integrated program to groom the young managers to become a leader or senior manager of the company. 6. Has been entrusted to lead the team of Run Full Sell Full concept which consists of manufacturing, finance and marketing people. This program also consists of Losses Analysis and lead to Mini Profit and Loss of the company.
