• Team Lead of 9 including 7 procurement experts and 2 documentation executives. • Procurement and supply of Genuine-OEM spare parts according to Maker’s manual. • Repairs arrangement either by off-landing equipment or sending technician on vessel for jobs like Main engine overhaul, auxiliary engine overhaul, cargo pumps, boiler pumps, purifiers, compressors, propeller shaft, turbochargers, MPI, UTM, UWI, etc • Analyzing and comparing costs from different vendors, keeping close coordination from technical team. • Managing operating budget assigned for spare parts purchase, repair maintenance, freight, agency, class, flag, 3rd party inspections charges. • Involved in signing contracts with various service providers like Ship communication, navigation, medical chest supply, life-rafts, LSA/FFE, GMDSS • Vendor management & negotiations for prices & bulk supplies. Close coordination with finance for payment clearance. • Following European standards MARPOL EH&S safety standards of procuring asbestos free material. Monitoring IHM with contractual service providers. • Arrangement of annual & 5 yearly services of Safety and Radio equipment. • Playing a vital role in fleet dry dock maintenance which has an estimated budget of 2-3 million dollars (depending on the size of the fleet) • In my leadership, the team has completed successful timely supplies for the vessels in dry docks. About 15 dry docks have been completed so far in this company in major ports like Xinya Shipyard, Cosco Shaghai, Nakilat Shipyard, Zhoushan, • Duqm, Dubai Dry dock, Hamriya port, port Khaled, Tuzla port, Desan shipyard, etc. • Analyzing KPI’s of team members quarterly basis and submitting to HR

• Manage full spectrum of purchasing process (sourcing, quotation, negotiation, shipping and delivery, etc.) • Responsible for material fabrication, SS Flanges, Pump Impeller, Electrical motor rewinding, consumable filters & O-rings. • Commencing service and shore support based tasks for Overhauling Engine/Generators/Services for Bridge Navigation. • Maintaining purchase records & service reports with cost comparison to meet owners allotted operating budget • Appointing Agents on Vessel Owner’s instructions & coordination of service boat bookings with-in the given budget • Assisted Technical team for preparing budget of OPEX and CAPEX. • Closely monitoring inventory on board to avoid off-hire of the vessel.
