• Development & Purchase of parts, equipments & Sub-assemblies for Diesel, Electric Forklifts, and Battery operated Warehousing Equipments like Stacker, BOPT, Reach trucks & Tow trucks. • Introduce and evaluate suppliers based on commercial and technical competence, product know-how, capacity, cost, quality and delivery. • Sending RFQ, Negotiation on quotations & price settlements with suppliers. • Estimation and settlement of commercial & technical terms of an item with the supplier. • Discussion for drawing and performance specs, DFM, modifications required if any, acceptance of supplier product etc. • Establishing the consistent supplies at volume requirement and transferring to the group looking after repeat procurement of developed items from Central Warehouse-India. • Inventory and stocks control as per norms and without affecting the production among Logistics. • Close coordination with R&D, Production, Manufacturing, SCM & Logistics team. • Supplier RM, New Product Development and child parts planning for smooth flow. • Managing team - four subordinates’ day to day coordination, activities & Warranty Management. • Establishment of Material handling & Quality system at vendor end. • Monthly supplier performance evaluation by Quality, Cost, Delivery & Development (QCDD). • Auditing the vendor Systems and Processes. • Resolving quality issues in supplies & getting the item duly validated in time. • Whole responsibility of End to end Warranty Management system along with CFT Team.

Responsible for Sourcing of PB type, CV type carburetor’s & ASV’s machined parts; • Localisation of the imported parts / components. • Procurement of Materials as per MRP. • Working as a team member of local materials section of Carburettor Division. • Inventory and stocks control as per norms and without affecting the production. • Scheduling to Vendor as per monthly production plan. • Implementation of JIS, DOL concept for smooth delivery of material and inventory control. • Advance planning for long lead time’s items to avoid shortages. • Rejection claim & material return to supplier with co- ordination of incoming quality. • Vendor quality, delivery performance and rating preparation on monthly basis. • Production planning and control of SPD items. Made various improvements at Vendor end to increase productivity & reduction in rejection. Based upon that Cost Down taken & passed on to the company.
