Directional Drilling Contract Holder Team – Key Responsibilities • Pre-Qualification (PQ): Lead the evaluation and approval of new service providers under the Directional Drilling Services scope, including conducting site visits and technical assessments. • Tender Preparation: Review, draft, and revise tender documents to ensure technical and contractual compliance. • Contract Management: Provide technical and contractual support to Drilling and Field Development teams, ensuring alignment with operational requirements. • Service Quality & Awareness: Organize service quality review meetings and deliver awareness sessions for KOC Operations, Field Development, and Engineering teams. • Technology & Commercial Oversight: Approve fit-for-purpose technologies, lead price negotiations, and resolve technical and contractual challenges. • Performance Measurement: • Developed and implemented new Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) based on service quality metrics to enhance drilling performance evaluation and overall efficiency. • Conduct quarterly KPI reviews, performance evaluations, and contract value monitoring. • Auditing & Compliance: Designed a standardized checklist and scoring template for auditing directional drilling service providers at rig sites and workshops. • Failure Investigation: Lead directional drilling failure investigations, performing detailed root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. • Data & Reporting: Built an interactive management dashboard to automate NTEV monitoring and present KPI scores across all directional drilling contractors, supporting data-driven decision-making.
