I am an Electrical/Electronics Engineer and Researcher passionate about advancing autonomy systems, embedded computing, AI-driven infrastructure assessment. My expertise spans Connected and Automated Vehicles (CAVs), Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), embedded systems design and machine learning applications in smart mobility. Currently, I am a Research Scientist at North Carolina A&T State University, where I assess physical and digital roadway infrastructure for safe operations of CAVs in rural areas. My work involves developing AI/ML models to evaluate roadway conditions and integrating connectivity solutions (5G, GPS, and sensor networks) to enhance autonomous vehicle safety. Previously, I worked at Zipline international as an instructor, where I designed a 3D simulation software for onboarding new employees, and at AngloGold Ashanti, where I developed a web application for tracking downtime events, significantly improving operational efficiency. My background also includes real-time data processing, IoT communication protocols, and robotics applications. I thrive in cross-functional environments, collaborating with engineers, data scientists, and industry experts to drive innovation. With a strong foundation in Python, C/C++, Verilog, and ROS2, I am always eager to tackle challenging problems at the intersection of AI, embedded systems, and mobility technology.
