Construction Development Contracting and Trading (CDCT) is a civil contracting company offering a full range of construction services. CDCT also maintains a strong foundation based on its solid and long term relationships with clients, architects, engineers, sub-contractors and suppliers. CDCT is characterized by a well established structure and an in depth management. Engineering and executive team is highly qualified with experience spanning for more than 30 years in construction, consultancy and supervision work. Current Projects are mainly with Clients Qatar Petroleum & Woqod . My Job role is to lead a Qualified Procurement team at CDCT Head office to handle all the projects from a Central Procurement Team.

Salwa Beach resort , a new massive waterfront resort roughly 100km outside of Doha is expected to open by the end of 2019. Hilton Hotels & Resorts will operate the 362-room resort, which will be owned by Al Rayyan Hospitality and located off of Salwa Road, approximately 15 minutes away from the Saudi Arabian border. Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas will be constructed on 257 acres of land and is envisioned to include a water park, marina, dive center, cinemas, pools, health club, spa and considerable retail space. In addition to the rooms and suites in the main hotel building, the resort will include two small “villages” of family villas.

Project : Workers Hospital & Stand Alone Healthcare Centre @ Messaid ( 200 bed Hospital with total area of around 50000 Sq.M 1. Overseeing, establishing & maintaining of the cost estimating process to enable producing accurate & consistent estimates and close follow-up of the budget during the execution of work. 2. Reviewing the construction documents for each construction packages and highlighting the project team any deficiency or corrections to be made. 3. Follow up with the Project team to ensure the requirements & get the indent. 4. Review the indent & specification of Engineering & Non Engineering items. 5. Floating RFQ's to approved vendors & get the quotations in stipulated time period. 6. Expedite new vendors & follow up with the site project team to get approval of non approved Vendors from respective clients. 7. Evaluate the supplier quotations against the tender requirements such as capacity, quantity, specifications, deviations, etc. Make comparative analysis of all the quantity & use the optimum solution. 8. Preparing of Management Approvals after preparing Comparative statements & get it approved from higher authorities. 9. Revise the costing for the post tender clarifications received and provide price and technical inputs to generate official Purchase Order. 10. Suggest suitable technical alternatives whenever possible in coordination with the Design & Studies section and the Project Management section. 11. Maintain an updated supplier database that consists of reliable and trustworthy sources 12. Proposing value engineering solutions and cost effective materials/products. 13. Prepare technical submittal for consultant approvals.

Major Projects awarded which myself was part of estimation team . 1. Workers Hospital & Stand Alone Healthcare Centre @ Messaid . 2. Construction and devolepment of QF Golf Course . Package 2 @ Al Rayyan 1. Review Tender documents including specifications, drawings and BOQ to understand and determine the scope of work and preliminary feasibility study of the tender projects 2. Prepare pre-tender clarification to Client 3. Arranging the meeting with Quantity Surveyor to briefing scope of works and assign the works such as Quantity take off, Floating enquiry for quotation, clarification for missing documents to client and discussion for risk factor 4. Study all contractual clause before starting the costing 5. Monitoring the floating enquiries to Suppliers / Manufacturers, collect the quotation, comparison and scrutinize sub-contractors or suppliers 6. Monitoring the detailed Quantity take off based on drawings, specifications and BOQ 7. Negotiations with sub-contractor/ suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of product. 8. Prepare rate analysis for a wide range of items 9. Prepare detailed Cost estimation for management approval 10. Prepare the Technical proposal based on client requirement 11. Prepare Pre-Qualification documents as well as project specific questionnaires 12. Based on Client budget constraints for any specific project, carrying out Value engineering studies and submit alternative offer. 13. Response the post tender clarification to Client 14. Identifying, analyzing and developing responses to commercial risks 15. Preliminary budget preparation and update the budget monthly basis for ongoing projects 16. Assist the project & procurement teams during the execution of the projects.

Works involved mainly with the supervision of various commercial and residential building construction. Job also includes Costing, Valuations, Variations, Quantity Surveying, Estimation, Procurement, Valuations & Variations of Sub-Contractors, Value Engineering, Procurement Reports and Estimation, Monitor progress, Prepare payment reports, Ordering materials, Material handling and Inventory etc. Correspondence between Consultants/Main contractors/Clients. Weekly progress reports & attend meeting with Consultants & Clients.

Calicut City House Pvt. Ltd is a property devolepment firm dealing with construction of residential flats and commercial arcades. I was assigned to execute the work of Dream City Apartments ( 12 floors ) , Dream City Mahal ( 8 floors ) and Dream City Beach Avenue ( 8 floors ) from inception to completion of the project. Principally concerned with Estimation, Site Supervision , Costing ,Valuations , Variations , Quantity Surveying , Procurement , Valuations and Variations of Sub Contractors , Procurement reports and Estimations , Monitor progress , prepare payment reports , Ordering materials , Meetings with Consultants etc

Assigned to work as Assistant Civil Engineer on various residential and commercial projects. Principally concerned with preparation of detailed Estimates, Quantity surveying, Valuations, Procurement reports, Monitor work progress and supervision of construction jobs.
