His work focuses on navigating multi-jurisdictional regulations, structuring fulfilment and last-mile frameworks, and mitigating risk for businesses expanding across the US, GCC, and Southeast Asia. At Locad, he has been closely involved in structuring and negotiating complex commercial and cross-border arrangements, including warehousing, fulfilment, distribution, and marketplace integrations across multiple jurisdictions. His work involves aligning legal frameworks with on-ground operations, ensuring clarity on liability, service levels, risk allocation, and regulatory compliance. Through this, he has developed a strong understanding of the practical challenges faced by e-commerce brands, particularly in areas such as inventory movement, last-mile delivery, and multi-country fulfilment, enabling him to provide solutions that are both legally sound and commercially workable. Mohammed is a corporate, restructuring, and turnaround professional, having completed the Post Graduate Insolvency Programme at the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (Ministry of Corporate Affairs), and is empanelled with the Independent Director DataBank of IICA. He is also a legal entrepreneur — Founder & CEO of Law Essentials (est. April 2020), under which he has built platforms focused on legal awareness, practical insights, and industry collaboration, including the Law Essentials Journal (ISSN 2582-6735), indexed on HeinOnline and J-Gate. Through this venture, he has actively collaborated with institutions such as Dharmashastra National Law University, St. Joseph’s institutions, and organisations including ADR and other industry bodies.
