As HSE Engineer, I attended weekly and monthly project progress meetings to provide updates to management personnel in the matters of HSE conditions. I also facilitated pre-orientation briefing for newly hired working personnel, as well as continuous improvement initiatives. Furthermore, I created a loss prevention policy, procedural surveys, and inspections with ARAMCO employees. Lastly, I monitored and moderated the status of the work permits and employees compliance.

In this role, I ensured conformance to all company safety guidelines, regulatory standards, and quality control measures. Authored company HSE policy and protocol for emergency response, accident investigation, and risk assessment. Coordinated with Personal Protective Equipment’s (PPE’s) suppliers and stakeholders to foster employee welfare and safety. I also derived and implemented HSE department management system and strategy that controls the field safety hazards. Furthermore, I launched HSE awareness campaign to promote a positive safety culture within the organization.

Preparing Nakheel HSE training materials, program, matrix & Key Performance Indicators (KPI's). Preparing & launching office & site incentive scheme for Nakheel & contractors employees. Attending high level meetings with UAE HSE authorities. Review & approve the contractors HSE plans. Writing Nakheel IMS HSE procedures as per OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 standards. Arranging & participating in HSE national & international events like UAE Clean Up Day, Environment Day, Earth Hour, etc… Administrating all HSE related issues within the company itself and the stakeholders. Preparing & conducting a professional HSE induction for the new employees. Conducting an official audits on all Nakheel contractors & following up the findings. Chairing HSE meetings with Nakheel HSE staff & Nakheel contractors. Participating in most of UAE HSE exhibitions. Reviewing the contractors HSE submitted reports.

Contribute to business growth of Personal Safety Division through end user focus in support of Technical activities. Provide the sales force with relevant training on products and Product applications. Provide technical & educational presentations and hands on demonstrations to the end users. Conduct field assessment and product qualifications at customer sites. Execute New Product Introduction and Identify opportunities for new products and applications. Conduct field’s tests for new products as required providing feedback to the product development group. Enhance the communication with Personal Safety Technical Service Local and Global Team. Provide the local and Personal Safety organization with competitive information. Contribute in the strategic technical & marketing planning for Personal Safety Division. Establish a solid end user focus pipeline per vertical & region.
