• Responsible for the organization, administration and overall management of the areas/functions/staff of the Outpatient Clinic and Screening Clinic to ensure quality in the services provided by assigned areas/functions/staff. Such services shall be provided to help ensure attainment of KKESH goals; and, in accordance with the latest published standards of the Joint Commission in Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). • Oversees admission office, Emergency Room reception, and Medical Report Office. • Responsible for promoting effective utilization of healthcare Resources (e.g. Beds Management) • Manages patient progress through episode of care, reporting, and correcting variances.

• Responsible for overall management of the Department of Training & Scholarship in accordance with the scope of service and the department mission.Ensures clinic standards and management systems are consistent with hospital standards and JCIA requirements. • Responsible for providing education/training programs and through other appropriate means, promote opportunities for hospital staff to achieve professional development and personal growth.Maintain total quality, safety environment and infection control. • Identifies, recommends and sets priorities for education and training programs for employees • Assess, prepares, and monitors the department improvement plan.

Position Summary - Manages and coordinates patient care across a multidisiplinary care continuum within a clinical service structure to include interacting with physicians. - Ensures clinic standards and management systems are consistent with orgnization standards and JCIA requirements. - Evaluates clinic performance and effect changes as needed to improve patient care and servcies. - Maintain total quality, safety environment and infection control.

OPC Supervisor is responsible for the overall planning, organization, direction, orientation of new clinical staff, training and supervision of assigned areas/functions/staff of Outpatient clinical area. OPC Supervisor is responsible for ensuring quality patient care provided by assigned areas/functions and staff meet the Outpatient Clinic and organizational goals.
