Responsibilities: • Assisted the Supply Chain Manager throughout all SCM functions. • Obtaining the Materials request from the production dept. and sourcing materials as requested. • Initiating RFQ with suppliers, freight forwarders, and service providers, followed by Quotation comparison and approval of vendor.• Managing all inbound and outbound logistics (timely raw materials imports to ensure timely production and outbound shipping to local and international customers). • Shipping Documents Verification and compliance with Qatar customs regulations. • Export documents preparation through the Qatar Chamber of Commerce. • Negotiated with suppliers for the best qualified deals. • Cost reduction through strategic sourcing, evaluation, and comparison of materials quotations, and wastage reduction through the Just-in-Time Inventory approach. • Project Logistics cost estimation. • Checking inventory levels and re-ordering raw materials.
