Supporting insurance claims with accurate documentation, damage assessments, and compliance evidence to expedite resolutions. -Equipment Audits & Inspections: Conducting thorough inspections of shipboard equipment, machinery, and safety systems to ensure compliance with ISM and operational standards. Coordinating pre-docking surveys and technical audits to identify repair priorities. -Crew Training & Safety Culture: Developing and delivering training programs to foster a proactive safety mindset, ensuring crews are prepared for emergencies and compliance requirements. Beyond Compliance: Bridging Maritime Expertise with Technology Passionate about efficiency and innovation, I leverage Google Apps Script to automate workflows and solve operational challenges. As an Owner Superintendent, I oversee the complete operational and technical management, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective fleet operations. My core responsibilities include: Operational & Technical Management -Vessel Performance Monitoring: Supervise daily operations, ensuring compliance with charter party agreements and company standards. -Charter Coordination: Manage delivery/redelivery processes, acting as the primary liaison between shipowners, charterers for smooth handovers. -Port & Voyage Planning: Coordinate with charterers, and crew to optimize sailing schedules, bunker plans, and port logistics. Maintenance & Dry-Docking -Planned Maintenance System (PMS): Monitor and evaluate maintenance schedules. -Docking & Repair Planning: Prepare repair lists and spare part requests at least 3 months before docking. Oversee dry-docking operations, including budget control, and progress reporting. -Class & Survey Management: Schedule and supervise classification surveys, audits, and statutory inspections to maintain. -Bunker & Procurement Fuel Management: Calculate bunker requirements per voyage, monitor consumption, and ensure compliance. -Supply Chain Coordination: Verify and approve vessel requisitions, ensuring timely delivery of spare parts, provisions. Safety & Compliance -ISM Code Implementation: Verify ISM are properly enforced onboard. -Documentation Control: Maintain and validate vessel certificates, manuals, and crew documents for audits and inspections. -Onboard Inspections: Conduct quarterly vessel visits to assess conditions, review maintenance records. Reporting & Continuous Improvement -Damage & Repair Analysis: Review technical reports, assess defects, and coordinate corrective actions. -Operational Reporting: Ensure all logs, checklists, and docking reports are properly documented and filed.
