With over 28 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, I am a seasoned technologist and a chartered engineer who leads the technology and information functions at Dhiraagu, the largest and most trusted telecom provider in the Maldives. My mission is to transform the company into a digital, customer-centric organization that delivers innovative and reliable solutions to its diverse and growing customer base. As the CTIO, I am responsible for developing and executing the technology strategy, overseeing the network and IT operations, and managing complex technical teams across multiple locations. I have successfully driven and implemented several digital initiatives, such as enhancing the digital customer experience, improving operational efficiency, and modernizing the technology infrastructure. I have also leveraged my expertise in network design, telecommunications, and mobile technologies to deliver business outcomes and create value for the company and its stakeholders.
