Responsible for the IT network Think–Build–Run lifecycle providing end-to-end architecture, operations oversight, and network security guidance across an MNO’s multicloud infrastructure, including a mobile money platform serving 5M+ customers. 🔑 Key Projects: • IT Core Network Migration: Orchestrated the complete geographical relocation of the IT core network. Manually written scripts for 12+ critical network components (including routers, core switches, internet gateways, firewalls, Cisco ISE, WSA, etc.). Led risk management, migration strategy, CAB defense, and full business validation (pre/post-change). -Critical impact: Affected all business domains of YAS, with over 500 live production servers across multi-cloud environments. Included services: Mobile Finance, SMS, Data Warehouse, internal applications, IN network, VPNs, billing systems, and more. • Internet & DMZ Firewall Migration: Managed the migration of DMZ and internet firewalls from Juniper SRX to a HA PaloAlto architecture. Manually re-engineered and written end-to-end configuration scripts across all impacted platforms. -Critical impact: Internet access, DNS services, and all public-facing enterprise applications. • Datacenters Interconnection - VXLAN BGP EVPN: Led DCI project interconnecting two datacenters using VXLAN BGP EVPN fabrics with spine-leaf topology. Integrated border leafs with clustered NextGen firewalls (Cisco Firepower with FMC in high availability). Achieved full end-to-end 100Gbps interconnectivity inside both DC fabrics. -Technologies used: VXLAN, eBGP, iBGP, IS-IS, BFD, M-LAG, vPC, PIM, RP, multicast, anycast gateway etc • AWS Cloud Migration: Served as lead network and security architect, migrating part of the production workload from on-prem datacenters to AWS public cloud. Involved in architecture design, product selection, and validation as a core member of the cloud migration team.

In charge of designing, securing, and optimizing complex network infrastructures across enterprise, telecom, and public-sector environments. My role blends deep technical expertise with strategic advisory, supporting clients across West, East, and Central Africa in achieving scalable, resilient, and secure IT architectures. Project: Senegal’s Largest Bank – Datacenter Interconnect & Security Reinforcement Deployment of a secure Datacenter Interconnect (DCI) architecture for Senegal’s largest banking institution, enhancing business continuity, segmentation, and operational security. Key contributions included the deployment of Cisco Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) in HA mode with centralized management via Cisco FMC, ensuring visibility, policy consistency, and threat protection across critical environments. In parallel, implemented Palo Alto Networks firewalls with VSYS, enabling multiple isolated virtual firewalls to support distinct banking operations. The project incorporated a phased Disaster Recovery (DR) strategy, with step-by-step operational enablement to minimize risk and ensure business resilience. The engagement concluded with a structured knowledge transfer program, delivering documentation, runbooks, and hands-on sessions to empower the bank’s executive security team with full operational control.
