I am working at the DG CLIMA. I am a coordinator for the Member States Competent Authorities for the implementation of the EU carbon market (so called EU ETS) for aviation. Plus, I am expert for the definition of the futur worldwide carbon market at the ICAO level. As a coordinator, I am involved in the review process of the EU ETS following the 2016 ICAO Assembly and I am responsible for the implementation of the current EU ETS for aviation. In view of the above, the work consist of communication, outreach and implementation-related activities, mainly toward Member States Competent Authorities, but also other relevant DGs (e.g MOVE, EEAS) and third country partners. As an ICAO expert, with the rest of the aviation team, we elaborate defensive lines to reflect the EU positions for a worldwide global market.
