Sourcing role in the early production facilities in Kuwait

Working as mechanical procurement engineer my duties and responsibilities were as follows: 1- Studying project documents (Specifications, bill of quantities and drawings). 2- Preparing a procurement plan for the project for all activities. (e.g.: Firefighting, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical process and infrastructure systems) 3- Preparing request for quotation. 4- Follow up suppliers and get quotations. 5- Revise the submitted offers and prepare comparison sheets. 6- Negotiate with suppliers to get best prices and quality on time. 7- Prepare material submittal to get approval from the consultant. 8- Make the purchase orders or contracts. 9- Following up the material till it reaches the site and giving support for safe installation.

Working as mechanical technical office engineer my responsibilities were making and reviewing work shop and as built drawings for the mechanical activities including (HVAC, fire fighting, plumbing and infrastructure works) in addition to the documentation work (requests, letters and submittals).
