 Responsible for maintaining and installing computer networks based on Cisco Routers & Switches /ASA /Fortinet /SonicWALL / F5-ASM/ Working as part of a team and operating in a fast-paced, changing and challenging 24x7 environment.  Working with IP routing protocols: EIGRP, BGP and OSPF.  Implement layer two network administration tasks: creation and management of VLANs, Port security, Trunking, Inter-VLAN routing, STP, and Ether-channel  Implement Layer 2 security activities such as AAA Radius server, NTP, Syslog, SNMP, and Implement traffic filters using Standard and Extended access-lists, Distribute-Lists, and Route Maps.  Hardening Cisco devices, Configuring routing with automatic fail-over solutions between multiple DCs.  Implement and troubleshoot Remote Access Solution: IPsec VPN, SSL VPN.  Ensure robust network backup and recovery capability.  Ensure the timely correction of any bugs and vendor supplied patches and new releases related to network and security devices.

Performs installation, commissioning, integration of microwave links (RTN-NEC). Installation & Commissioning of Huawei 2g and 3g BTS 3900. RTN Microwave Links (600-900). E1 route implementation (NEC-RTN) including link upgrade. Complete sweep testing. Work projects: Roll out for new sites for Etisalat Misr. Microwave links swap for Etisalat Misr. Swaps and New sites for Vodafone Egypt.
