Mitin Jain

Mitin Jain has close to two decades of experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking and Listed Investing. His core area of focus is to enable small and mid-size companies create value, by providing capital in form of funds and knowledge sharing. He is the Founder / Managing Director of India SME Investments, an early growth PE fund (AIF Cat 2); India SME focuses on investing in small/mid-market fast growing companies, catering directly/indirectly to Indian consumption space. He is also the Founder of Molecule Ventures, set up alongwith his Partner Nirav Parikh (CIO, Molecule Ventures). Molecule is a PMS entity with focus on listed small and mid-cap companies. India SME is always looking out for young talent who are passionate for equities, and seeking to build a long-term career in the investing world. In his earlier role, he was Director and Founding Member at BanyanTree, PE fund with an AUM of USD 250 mn. He led 10 investments from origination to closure across various sectors including BFSI, FMCG, retail, agrochemicals, healthcare, power ancillary, IT and education.
