Worked primarily on a year long consolidation project for the MerCruiser product line. This involved planning for every detail of the assembly line construction plan, so that it could be reassembled in a new area while reducing the overall footprint. Other tasks associated with the project included, researching and demoing new equipment, contacting and communicating with vendors and contractors, and minor tool design.

2nd Shift surface grinder. Experience gained on manual surface grinders and CNC surface grinders. Produced mainly carbide cutting inserts. Worked with high precision measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers, as well as optical comparators. Routinely held tolerances of +/- .001" and occasionally as low as +/- .0005". When tolerances were not met, trouble shooting the cause of the error and solving the problem were required.

Customer service role. Worked to greet guests as they arrived, fill out the wait list, and estimate a wait time. Provided assistance to waiters/waitresses during free time, and balanced where guests were seated, to avoid overloading a waiter/waitress and/or the kitchen.
