* I am employed at WCM Europe as a Project Engineer where I project manage orders for some of the top names in the automotive industry. Here I act as an interface between the customer and the company following order acceptance through to order delivery. I am responsible for managing the projects from concept through to production. This involves liaising with internal departments and worldwide external suppliers for progression updates, problem solving any issues and communicating with the customer to ensure successful delivery. * Overview of position: * Meet and understand customer production requirements through evaluation of BID specs and communicating with the customer. * Assist in determining the feasibility of the project. * Assist in project costing and quotations. * Key point of contact between the customer and WCM. * Create, update and supply project plans throughout the project. * Assist with monitoring project actual costs against estimates. * Maintain project registers and files. * Co-ordinate client visits. * Maintain client visits to their facilities as required.
