Worked as the Unit Head for campers going into 8th grade for 2 four-week sessions. Managed a staff of 14 to 18 counselors, and helped maintain positive interpersonal relationships between staff and between staff and campers. Oversaw the programming and execution of activities for 50+ campers each session. Dealt with a variety of camper and counselor issues, and tended to the emotional and physical well being of everyone in the unit. Worked as a live-in bunk counselor for summers 2013, 2014, and 2015, where I was responsible for caring for campers ranging in age from 10 to 15, and for planning educational and fun activities for the campers.

Worked as a summer intern in the Palmer Lab to characterize motility and phototropism in Chlamydomonas reinhardtii. Assisted in designing an experimental assay to observe phototactic responses in C. reinhardtii. Experience with lab safety protocols and hazardous waste disposal Used image analysis software to characterize particle motility.

Took classes at Hebrew University in Jerusalem for a semester and volunteered on a youth village for troubled and disadvantaged kids outside of Haifa
