I am a native Catalan and Spanish speaker with a "Licenciatura" Degree (B.A. & M.A.) in English and German Philology and a Master's Degree (M.Ed.) in Foreign Language Teaching for Secondary Education (specialty: English). I studied in Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain), Groningen (The Netherlands), and Wuerzburg (Bavaria, Germany). My love for languages started as an early teenager; that is why I always review the ones I once learnt and I learn new ones. In August 2025, I started working as a teacher at Elbschule Wedel. During the school year 2024-25, I worked at the ISH (Hamburg) in the following: MYP Spanish LA teacher. Elementary German LA teacher. Personal Project supervisor. NECIS U12 Girls Basketball co-trainer. After-School German teacher. G12 Hoodies Project. First aider. From 2013 to 2024, I worked at the ISM (Schweinfurt). During the first 9 years, I was the only Spanish teacher, therefore building the whole IGCSE Spanish Foreign Language program and the MYP Spanish Language Acquisition program of the school. Moreover, I also worked as: Coordinator for German Language Acquisition, PYP (Grades 1-5) English Language Acquisition teacher, PYP and MYP (Grades 6-10) German Language Acquisition, Homeroom Teacher of Grade 9, and teacher for pull-outs and push-ins for German and English. Furthermore, I was part of the PYP, MYP and DP (Grades 11 & 12) evaluation groups, leading the last one; I helped in the PTA (Parent Teacher Association); I led clubs for Spanish, Photography, Kahoot making, and Just Dance; I was responsible for several years of the social media of the school; I led the visual documentation of most school events; I organized and chaperoned three Barcelona trips as well as a ski trip; and I was part of the Teachers' After-School Sports Club, as well as a first aider. From 1997 to 2013, I worked in B2B for consumer goods as a Business Developer and Country Manager in Spain (from no customers in the country to helping establish a distribution office in Barcelona), Portugal and Andorra.
