Miriam Corredor Sánchez

I am the CEO at noctuRNA Therapeutics, a spin-off from Pompeu Fabra University. At noctuRNA Tx, we have pioneered a groundbreaking therapeutic approach to address some of the most challenging diseases worldwide. Leveraging our innovative platform, we specialize in the design and production of circular RNAs that specifically target essential structural elements within RNA, playing a critical role in disease progression.

I am working as senior project manager and business developer reporting directly to the General Management in several fields and also pushing some disruptive projects and finding new business opportunities, mainly in the healthcare sector. Nowadays I am coordinating the Clinical Advanced Technologies Initiative (CATI) in close collaboration with Hospital Clinic of Barcelona. I am also giving support to the CIMTI and the Healthcare LivingLab Catalonia initiatives.

I led the Healthcare Living Lab Catalonia's project in Leitat to promote the scientific and technological knowledge in the health sector by applying the user/patient-centered approach in collaboration with hospitals. We managed an agreement with several catalan hospitals to work with.

I started in Leitat as COO in CIMTI initiative covering a maternal leave. CIMTI's mission is to help projects developed in the Catalan public health system to impact in the society. My main task was the management of the supported projects, looking for investors, managing the communication, working with all the suppliers (regulatory, techtransfer, business development...) and I also executed the technical and financial justification of the project.

I worked as a promoter of the Nanobiotechnology for Diagnostics group (Nb4D) in the Institute of Advanced Chemistry of Catalonia (CSIC). My main role was to promote the knowledge, results and technological services of the group in the scientific and business areas in order to find new projects and collaborators to transfer and commercialize the most potent assets. I elaborated a Marketing Plan to improve our visualization. Moreover, I was in charge of the implantation of a quality management system in the group to obtain the TECNIO accreditation.

En 2013 presenta su tesis doctoral; "Chemical Modulation of identified hit compounds as apoptosis inhibitors", que recibió nota Excelente Cum Laude y de la cual se han publicado varios artículos en prestigiosas revistas científicas y se presentó una patente por la obtención de una família nueva de compuestos. Dicha tesis se llevó a cabo en el Instituto de Química Avanzada de Catalunya del CSIC, bajo la supervisión del Prof. Angel Messeguer y el Dr. Ignacio Alfonso
