Miren is Founder and Chief Engagement Officer of Future By Design Pilipinas, a learning network committed to hosting meaningful conversations across and within multiple sectors in the Philippines towards a more positive future for the country. FBDP has been around since 2013, having a total of nine (9) learning partners, originally co-founded with the late Chairman Emeritus Dr. Juan A. Kanapi, Jr., and presently operating with current Chairman Edicio dela Torre. Miren provided the theoretical and implementation framework for strategic organizational development of Philinsure and ensured these aligned with the business goals of the company. Under her purview, talent sourcing, development, and management were designed to reflect the Philinsure brand. Business partnership of the Human Capital & Corporate Engagement team was geared towards fueling service excellence and performance across the various operational units of the company, synergized with community shared value development within and outside of Philinsure.

Defined and implemented the company's overall external relations program and strategies including corporate social responsibility (CSR) awareness and programming. Internal education and employee engagement on CSR and the electric power industry were intrinsic to the job. External relations covered national and project site media, liaising with government, corporate associations and business chambers, non-government organizations and partners, the academic community and the religious.

Coaching and formation of 42 bridging leaders spread over Mindanao with various projects as a way to peace and development in the island, especially in the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (ARMM). Participants ranged from governors to mayors to members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and key players of active non-government groups in the area. Participants had the opportunity to pilot/prototype various strategies to (achieving) peace through multi-stakeholder collaboration, co-ownership of efforts and transformational leadership ("co-leading"). The program was implemented through funding provided by The World Bank and the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process under the auspices of the Asian Institute of Management's TeaM Energy Center for Bridging Leadership.

Oversaw site engagement activities across all 13 sites of the company. Facilitiated community outreach programs and country-wide program roll-outs.
