Work As a Data Center Operations Engineer , Digitus Group (Formerly Hayat Communication) Managing DU Tier 3 Data Center | 6.0 MW IT Load (Liquid Cooling) • Responsible for Operations and maintenance of a 6.0 MW hyperscale data center, high-density liquid cooling systems utilizing Direct-to-Chip (D2C) technology with Supermicro infrastructure. • Execute Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), Predictive Maintenance, and Corrective Maintenance for all mission-critical Electrical mechanical and cooling equipment. • Lead operations, maintenance of advanced HVAC, chiller plants, CRAH, CRAC, VRF, FAHU units, liquid cooling, UPS Diesel generator systems supporting high-density IT loads. • Develop, review, and maintain MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs in compliance with data center operational and safety standards. • Ensure 100% adherence to safety policies, statutory regulations, within the data center environment. • Manage vendors and service partners to ensure timely and complete execution of PPM activities as per approved schedules, maintenance plans, and SLAs. • Handle commercial closure and renewal of AMC contracts, including scope finalization, and coordination with procurement and finance. • Ensure 100% compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements while supporting carbon sustainability and ESG initiatives. • Actively monitor and optimize PUE, identifying energy-saving opportunities through system tuning, control strategy improvements, • Manage SLA-bound troubleshooting for breakdowns in chillers, CRAH units, HVAC assets, minimizing downtime . • Conduct structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve system reliability

As an HVAC Mechanical Engineer, I am currently leading the HVAC operations for a Gulf Data Hub (GDH) Hyperscale 16 MW Datacenter project, managing both the Dammam and Jeddah locations. Both sites are Uptime certified as Tier 3 Data Centers. #My role encompasses the comprehensive operation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning of advanced HVAC systems. These systems include chillers, Precision Air Conditioning (PAC) units, Air Handling Units (AHUs), Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) systems, and ventilation systems. #Troubleshoot any breakdowns occurring in the CRAH, Chiller, and other HVAC equipment in the data center according to the agreed SLA defined by the customer. #Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for all major HVAC system failures and implement necessary actions to prevent recurrence. #Review and submit incident management reports to mitigate and reduce the likelihood of similar incidents in the future. #Responsible for the following Method of Procedure (MOP), Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Emergency Operating Procedure (EOP) with relative activities. #Planned and executed periodic preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, corrective maintenance, activities for all critical HVAC equipment. #Ensure all activities are performed with 100% adherence to safety compliance as per Data Center regulations. #Conducted operational training for the site team and customers on all major HVAC equipment.

•Lead and execute commissioning activities for data center cooling systems, including but not limited to: CRAH/CRAC units; Fan Wall Units ( FWU); Chilled Water Systems •Prepare and review commissioning plans, method statements, checklists, and test scripts •Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, controls contractors, and commissioning authorities •Attend and support Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) Perform pre-commissioning inspections, functional testing, and performance verification •Support integrated systems testing (IST) and final handover activities •Review and verify commissioning results against design intent, specifications, and client requirements •Prepare and submit commissioning reports Support troubleshooting activities during commissioning and early operation phases •Perform BMS integration to facilitate data retrieval via system/internet across different locations based on client requirements. •Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and commissioning best practices •Revenue (Service Sales) - Ensure timely submission of offers. - Achieve 100% AMC billing as per ISB guidelines. - Process project billing in accordance with customer purchase orders. - Manage vendor service and project billing. - Drive revenue generation through spare sales, including air filters, condenser coils, and TVSS. - Enhance revenue through casual jobs, out-of-warranty services, and spot services. - Ensure payment collection in line with agreed payment terms. Inventory Management - Maintain an inventory forecast of spare parts at the warehouse based on installation requirements. - Oversee the supply chain to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Field Service Engineer – Key Responsibilities Handle breakdown calls and ensure timely closure as per SLA. Provide Technical Support for CRAH, CRAC, SRC, CRV & modular data center equipment. Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers and franchise teams. Manage franchise operations ensuring service quality and technical compliance. Oversee inventory management and ensure spare parts availability and planning. Conduct technical training for franchise engineers and customers. Review DER reports and participate in technical discussions and conference calls. Prepare RCA reports, service bulletins, and maintain ECN documentation. Ensure PPM completion as per schedule for all thermal products under contract Follow mandatory safety procedures at ground level and ensure team compliance. Perform BMS configuration and system integration for HVAC and cooling equipment. Carry out iCOM controller software upgrades, parameter tuning, and system optimization

Service & Operations – Key Responsibilities Provide service and operational support for PEM, CRV, UCS, Free Cooling, and HIROSS units. Troubleshoot temperature, humidity, and system performance issues efficiently. Manage breakdown calls and ensure timely resolution as per SLA. Support AMC operations, after‑sales activities, and coordinate spare parts requirements. Prepare technical drawings and documentation as per company installation standards. Assist in installation, testing, commissioning, and operational checks of PAC systems. Conduct site inspections, ensure quality compliance, and support customer training. Handle vendor and customer coordination, including billing and service reporting. Configure BMS/MODBUS integrations and support controller settings/optimizations. Manage basic inventory control and ensure smooth service operations across assigned sites.

Responsibility includes Supervising and Coordinating the HVAC Project activities for Central Air Conditioning system for various applications. Installation, Testing and commissioning of HVAC system for various applications, site coordination with other services Supervising entire HVAC systems (Duct able, Split, Package, VRF), Material planning & procurement and negotiation with suppliers and vendors. Payment follow-ups, measurement of the Project. Fabrication and installation of ducts, Pipes and Air distribution systems as per drawing. Site supervision for inspections to ensure that the commissioning of the project is being carried out as per drawings, sorting out site problems and Implementing of safety and healthy environment. Has to handle the Franchise & Dealer of ETA General PVT LTD. Has to clear the pending stoke of Franchise & Dealer. Has to meet & convince different client for Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC). Has to make Bill for franchise with full satisfaction. Organization
