• Performed and optimized high throughput screen on library of compounds, followed by a structure-activity relationship study. • Developed and optimized antibiotic susceptibility assays under various conditions to characterize our potential inhibitors. • Synthesized novel small molecule inhibitors to suppress target enzyme ArnA, which is involved in the membrane-modification pathway as a resistance mechanism by Pseudomonas aeruginosa. • Mentored new students within my project to ensure daily productivity and the production of reliable laboratory results.
