Yinglun Bi

Hi, I am Ming. I’m a senior Industrial Design student from Beijing China, at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence. I am passionate about combining craftsmanship and creativity to create meaningful, human-centered design.My work spans industrial and furniture design, where I emphasize rapid iteration, refined prototyping, and attention to material detail. I’m experienced in carpentry, machining, model making, and digital fabrication, as well as sketching and 3D visualization using Rhino, SolidWorks, KeyShot, Blender, and the Adobe Creative Suite.Throughout my studies and internships, I’ve explored diverse design fields including sustainable design, graphic design, biomaterials, toy design, and fashion/sewing. Beyond design, I enjoy crafting insect specimens & model kits, and creating digital illustrations. I’m also an avid mixology and snowboarding enthusiast, always curious about the intersection between creativity, play, and experience.I’m excited to connect with fellow designers, studios, and collaborators who share a passion for thoughtful and innovative design!
