I began as an intern at the station, learning about radio broadcasting, voice tracking, office duties, promoting the station, and organizing records and discs. I was awarded a work-scholarship position beginning in August; my primary duties included recording campus music concerts, and editing them for broadcast. Other tasks included disc-jockeying a live radio broadcast every week, recording voice tracks for broadcast, and completing office tasks and mail runs. I continued to volunteer with the station as a board operator until December 2013; I disc-jockeyed a live show once a week, and recorded PSA's for the station to broadcast.

* Create video and audio content for company marketing, branding, training, and social media. Live stream special events and trainings, and provide video coverage and content creation of out of state and international events. * Technical director of all live-streamed events using Tricaster 8000 Advanced live video system and Panasonic PTZ robotic cameras. * Manage video studio construction, renovation, security and upkeep. Oversee in-house AV maintenance and improvement projects. * Develop ideas for improvement of in-house productions and broadcasts as well as social media integration.

Film and broadcast live sports games and events, and edit promos, highlights, and packages using Final Cut Pro 7 and Adobe After Effects. Also assist with promotion of athletic events over social networking platforms including Facebook and Twitter, and writing PSA's for radio broadcast.

I worked in the Production department of WAVY10/WVBT FOX43. My primary responsibilities included operating multiple cameras for live evening news broadcasts, using the Vinten Radamec Broadcast Robotics system. I also served as a production assistant to directors, producers, and on-air talent by communicating between the studio and control room, announcing stand-by cues and script changes, assigning microphones to talent, and any other assistance needed in the studio. Other tasks include TelePrompter, retrieving and delivering scripts, and setting up the studio before and after shows (lights, monitors, etc.)

Operate robotic cameras and audio consoles for live and recorded television broadcasts. Other duties include photograph city scenery for use as video backdrops, and edit photos and video projects in post-production using Adobe Creative Suite. I've worked with national networks including FOX News, NFL, NBC, CNN, and PBS, and international networks including BBC, Sky UK, Al Jazeera, Univision, and AuBC. Daily operation of Sony PTZ cameras and remote controllers, Allen&Heath QU-16 audio mixer, and Blackmagic Media router and express recorder.

As a photojournalist and editor, I work side-by-side with reporters to gather news in Hampton Roads, VA for television broadcast. Primary responsibilities include filming video, recording audio, and editing packages for the evening and/or nightly news. I am also responsible for general camera upkeep, driving the reporter to gather news, drive and operate satellite and microwave trucks, and operate camera and microphones during live broadcasts. I work with a Sony PMW-320K XDCAM EX HD on a daily basis, and I edit using Final Cut Pro X on Mac.
