• Liaising with the suppliers to ensure all customer orders are fulfilled and aligned with internal forecast. • Taking bookings from the suppliers and monitoring extra cuts and shortages. • Working closely with QA to ensure all products are gold seal approved before being shipped • Being accountable for in time shipment approval • Liaising with the forwarders / transport companies to ensure deliveries are maintained • Monitoring air and ocean freights imports from Europe and the far East • Arranging ocean / road freights / air freights • Updating merchandisers on the status of their orders / deliveries • Being accountable for the accuracy of delivery information held within systems • Maintaining and ensuring up to date shipping information in accordance to business requirements • Managing shipments, keeping track of all deliveries coming in and planning weekly intake into warehouse • Responsible for handling all shipping documents • Communicating clearly and effectively with factories to resolve any shipping issues.
