Milan Gowda M.Sc, Ph.D

I am a postdoctoral researcher at UT Southwestern Medical Center with expertise in immunology, molecular genetics, and hematology. My work investigates the interplay between blood coagulation and allergic immunity using CRISPR/Cas9 mouse models, platelet biology, and patient studies. Building on my Ph.D. research in anti-inflammatory mechanisms, I now focus on how blood coagulation regulates the allergic reactions, aiming to uncover novel therapeutic strategies and repurpose anticoagulants in allergy and inflammation. Passionate about translational science, I strive to bridge basic research with clinical impact through collaborative, multidisciplinary approaches.
