Installed and maintained Sun Microsystems E1000, Hewlett Packard 9000, and Silicon Graphics Challenge XL and Origin systems accessing over 5 terabytes of ORACLE data residing on both EMC 3700 and Sun RSM 2000 storage arrays. Installed and implemented HP’s Network Node Manager for monitoring of critical equipment. Assisted in the performance analysis of loading data warehouse’s from MVS based data using SUN SE tools and HP GlancePlus, PerfView etc,. Maintained data transfer mechanism’s from MVS to UNIX systems. Upgraded RS/6000 hardware from AIX 3.2 to 4.1.3. Also installed and maintained Autosys software for May & Speh’s outsourcing clients. Exposure to IBM AS400 systems. Designed and wrote C programs to aid in data translation.

Reviewed and implemented improvements to the Software Configuration Management systems in place. Reviewed and modified Configuration Management Standards. Designed and coded a front end to DEC CMS for controlling the distribution of LAN based configuration elements. Recommended and implemented improvements to software process using Centura’s TeamDeveloper and SQLWindows products. Provided direction in UNIX systems and Sybase administration.

Designed, specified, and installed an international network supporting software development for a European customer. Created an Internet presence for the project consisting of E-mail and Web servers. Designed and installed the configuration management system using ClearCase. Managed a development team writing an application monitoring and control facility consisting of a UNIX based back-end with both a JAVA and MFC based front end. Responsible for the design, acquisition, and installation of the systems management component for a three tier, client/server, clearing and settlement system. Also responsible for system administration of Sun Solaris and Microsoft NT advanced server systems. Supervised the configuration management efforts utilizing Atria’s ClearCase product.. Also conducted performance/capacity studies concerning the scalability of the Orbix+ISS and Sybase based back-end applications.

Responsible for the day to day operation of a data center operating 24X7 with a $2,000,000 equipment and services budget. Supervised 23 people in the Computer Operations, Production Control, and Network Control departments. Also responsible for all physical planning. Planned and supervised the installation of several IBM mainframes and several Tandem machines. Also planned and installed the first wave of Sun equipment used at OCC.

My responsibilities include the design and development of tests to ensure the operation of the service layer with both the internal ( cast facing) and external (guest facing) applications at WDW. This involved extensive use of automated testing methods, performance testing and improvement recommendations based on test results.

Responsible for designing data capture systems, development of models, and making recommendations to senior management on networking and computing equipment acquisitions. Developed capacity models for an MVS based clearing system, a Tandem based foreign currency trading system, a theoretical value calculation system running on Sun equipment, and an ethernet network. Supervised two people who maintained the data collection systems.

Designed and wrote software used in performance testing the Internet booking client for the Parks and resorts segment. Wrote JAVA code that served as a test bed for testing the XML interfaces in the Parks and Resorts reservations system. Wrote .Net application for testing wireless devices transmitting images to IIS servers. Wrote numerous LoadRunner programs for testing various applications. Responsible for the system administration of servers in the test lab. Also responsible for administration of the segments change control product, CM Synergy.

Test automation engineer responsible for developing web service functional tests validating services for a large reservations system. Developed numerous test scripts using HP’s test suite including, QTP, Service Test, VuGen, performance Center Quality Center. Other tests were scripted using perl, python, java, c#, VBS, etc. Designed, developed and, implemented a virtual test infrastructure supporting 100+ off-site developers/test execution personnel.
