Over the course of 7 seasons playing professional hockey in Europe I played in Latvia, Switzerland, Russia, Croatia, Sweden, and Germany. I was able to play in some of the top leagues in the world and experience living and interacting with so many different cultures. The experiences, travel , and people I met along the way truly shaped me as a person.

I played four years in North America at both the AHL and NHL level. In 2008 I played my first NHL game for the San Jose Sharks and in 2009 played games for the New York Islanders.
