About
Since 1986 I have continuously learned and developed my skills within the instrumentation, controls, and automation areas and have developed unique combination of high-level theoretical knowledge (starting with US Navy Nuclear Program) coupled with extensive practical experience in all areas of the I&C field. Over the last several decades I have served in numerous capacities including technician, operator, instructor, controls engineer, and business owner/manager, and have worked in a wide range of industries across North America and have never stopped learning. My strongest passion and greatest talent is in helping others learn and succeed in these interesting and challenging fields. I previously ran Orion Technical Training (the precursor to Orion Technical Solutions) from 2000 to 2010 - but accepted a couple of cascaded opportunities I could not pass up that ended up lasting way longer than planned. Starting in 2022, my wife and I began rebuilding and revising our equipment, courses, and services from the ground up, to be better than ever for the relaunch of all services in July 2023.
